Jimmy worked as a devout employee for UPS, where he was as a Pre-loader for 35 years, before retiring in 2005. From there, he became an essential bus driver for the Upper Darby School District, a job he truly enjoyed. He worked with some great people. He retired in 2020.

Jimmy had a true appreciation for the outdoors, family, and the simple things in life. He leaves his loved ones with many cherished memories.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Riley (nee Thinnes), his loving children Emily J. Berkheiser, Sean R. Riley and Darlene Mae Riley. Also survived by his grandchildren Michael Rocheleau, Christopher Terrinoni, Nicholas Terrinoni and Kane Riley-Fisher. Brother of Richard Riley (Denise), Nancy Froio and the late Francis Riley, Renee A. Grawl, Suzanne Riley and Patricia Riley. He is also survived by his 6 nephews Martin Grawl, Michael Grawl, Terence Grawl, Vincent Froio, Curtis Miller, Matt Riley and his niece, Amy Blosz.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, March 8, 2021 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Mass and Cemetery. Social distancing is to be observed.

The Riley family would like to thank the nurses from Main Line Health for their kindness and support to Jim. They are a great group of men and women. The family would also like to thank the Case Managers, nurses and doctors at Lankenau Hospital Heart Pavilion on the 1st, 2nd and 4th floors, as well as the nurses on the 3rd floor. You are the best!
